Fuck Globalization

It is a disgrace to think that globalization is a good thing if we focus on the way it has taken us.
We can't actually talk about something Global. How is Justin Bieber a result of globalization.
The market isn't global either, it is polarized. In terms of music the market is in the United States and Europe. And it is destroying local music culture.
Many Mexicans nowadays rather listen to foreign music than to local. Because they believe it is better.  From Dream Theater to Janis Joplin, from Justin Timberlake to Metallica, from Radiohead to The Beatles. And that is why the local stuff lacks of independence, always aiming in the same direction. At the same time European or US music have identity because of their local influences. It is wrong to think that what is being done in the USA or the Uk must be the new kind of music. Yes for them, not for us.
That is why I believe it is important to impulse and get in contact with more and more local music in Mexico. I declare myself supporter of my local identity in relationship wit music. Yeah, I don't mind listening to music from other countries and get influenced by it, but I think there is a big chunk of real Mexican music that I might consider as well.

Manifesto

I created this place, because I've sensed a certain need to share the music I listen to on a daily basis.
I also mean to express my thoughts surrounding everything that music means.
Regarding this Blog,
My passion is the music which since early years I've practiced, observed and consumed.
I only represent myself. But what I think, I am sure has been thought. Not by my parents, or someone else. But by the people of my generation. There is nothing original about thinking, just the doing part.
I am a reflection of the present, processes, and the past years of my still young consciousness.
